Andrew, my apologies if I gave offense - but if you are not committing code, why should anyone else? You must have a wealth of Oracle knowledge that OpenACS could benefit from - but according to the stats I see, you haven't committed anything in the last 800 days.
I am sure everyone would welcome, any sort of documentation / unit tests / new code / whatever, for Oracle or Postgres or even some third database.
My belief is, that in the time frame between now and the first release of OpenACS 6, whenever that may be ... very little Oracle code will be committed in proportion to the amount of bboard postings decrying Oracle being dropped.
