Forum OpenACS CMS: Is Chat facility available in Forums?

I'm a noob over here... I've tried Moodle so far, with a fair amount of success. Now I'm wondering if there's support for Chat facility in Open ACS, or is it available as a plugin?

Can I log the conversations to a file?

Thanks for the link, Ben Koot.

I actually came to explore this stuff from a Slashdot link, and the impression I got was this OpenACS is a mature, well-used and tested piece of code. Surprising that a full-features Chat tool is not a part of this.

Check out the chat package (packages/chat).
It has chat rooms, logs, can ban users, etc.
There is an accompanying package, if you use dotlrn.

i prefer reply through forums because chat option may ban u from fourm writting
