Forum OpenACS Development: Calendar module, primary contact

I understand that openforce is the current maintainer of the calendar
package. I've got heavily patched (and still patching) calendar and
acs-events modules which corrects most of the bugs.  Problem is I also
have customized code in so I just can't do a massive diff and write
out a patch file.  I can extract them in chunks slowly when I have
time and send them in part by part.  My question is -- to whom do I
send out the patch files direcly so that they can be reflected in the
CVS repository as often as possible?  My main concern is that I might
overlook some stuff when I merge from the openacs CVS head and mess up
some code in my local repository.

I can't answer your question but I wanted to update the people interested in the Synchonization features that one of my students was goint to work on. Well, the student apparently dropped the course so I can't guarantee that we will be able to do it in the short term.

I didn't in fact drop the course and I have now finished the development of the synchronization feature which supports the importing of events from Outlook (and other iCalendar compatible systems). It can handle almost all events exported from Outlook except some that contain complicated recurrence rules that cannot be implemented using the current OpenACS Calendar model.

Exporting of events to .ics format has already been done by Ben Adida, though from testing I have done it seems a little buggy.

I will be sending my synchronization files to OpenACS in the very near future for inclusion in future packages.
