Technical challenges and itches to scratch are fine... I certainly don't have a problem with it....
If you really enjoy this kind of thing from a purely pedagogic or explorative perspective thats ok too...
Buty to be honest thats a fairly hackery thing too.... everyone wants to play with different stuff cos its a damn site easier than actually doing the basics...
There's a good (paraphrased) Japanese saying...
'Anyone can draw a Demon, but drawing dogs is incredibly hard'
All I'm saying is that the community doesn't *need* what your proposing, nor is there very meuch general benefit.... therefore (other than for your own interest) whats the point??
Just think how much discussion we might have got done on Testing for example ;)!!! Far less intersting, but much more important.. (testing is the dog in this one ;)
