hi
im installing openACS on linux 7.3 red hat
acccording to documenation .... i followed everything up to the stage
where is says type " restart-aolserver myfile "
and i get the following line ..... " cant set uid "
any ideas what this mean and how to fix it

Did you try the Reader's Comments on that section? There was a post in some way concerning your problem, if I'm not wrong.
