Hi all,

Just communicating that Rafael Barroncas Mello, my first son, was born
on Monday, Sept. 9th at 12:50 AM MST. If you're curious I put some
pics at http://www.brasileiro.net/roberto/pictures/rafinha/ (warning:
a couple nudes 😊). "Rafinha" is the nickname for "Rafael" in portuguese.

That should explain my relative absence from the bboards in the past
few days. Being a parent has been wonderful so far.

Congrats!

Enjoy it while you can.  The first few months is one of the best, about 2 years later you will be chasing him with your harddisk in his hand :)
