I have tried createlang with and without options (mentioned in the
install docs) but I still can't get it to work. Some people before
have had similar problems but no clear answer is in the forum, can
you please help.

OS: RedHat 7.3

please don't spend time to respond to the above Q. It strangely worked in this recompile of postgres 7.2.
I used the enable flags mentioned in  the install docs.
