Forum .LRN Q&A: What will the release cycle follow?

Since the OACS code base for 4.6 has been freezed and a new branch
(oacs-4-6) has been made, I'm just wondering how this will impact the
planned release of dotLRN 1.0.  The current instructions on the
openforce site, tells you to download from the HEAD revision of the
openacs repository.  But in previous talks there were mention of
dotLRN 1.0 requiring oacs 4.6.  I think several stuff have been added
to the oacs HEAD, particularly those for acs-lang, which are not on
the oacs-4-6 branch.

The question is... What happens now to the CVS repository of dotLRN?
Will there also be a branch for dotLRN-1-0?  Or de we assume that
openforce is committing to dotLRN HEAD, but making sure it works on
oacs-4-6?  Because I'm pretty happy with the 4.6 branch and I don't
want to merge oacs HEAD into a live site just yet.

We will be branching dotLRN 1.0 sometime soon, and it will run on a stock OpenACS 4.6 release.  Sloan's done some testing already of their (Oracle-based) customization of dotLRN and thus far it has gone well.
