Yes, I think on the whole I agree with how MIST should work, but I think I'd nbeed to think a bit about the detail before posting up much more on that.

However I do want to point out that my understanding has been for some time now, that a more serious effort on modularisatio etc had always been anticipated to occur around or just after the 4.7 release. So far from not making any progress, as far as I'm aware everyhitng moving forwarg against a timescale thought practical.

(PS, I still feel the tone of you original document was unnecessarily critical,and I still feel you are over stating somewhat the current situation and the priority/seriousness of the current deficiencies)
