Forum OpenACS Q&A: Response to Request for Comments and Discussion: Building a Leaner, Meaner OpenACS with MIST

As the resident Release Mother, err I mean Manager, I have a request:

Could this discussion please be tabled until the 4.6 release is out the door?  I think it has become a huge distraction and I need the attention of many of the folks who are posting to this thread.

Perhaps we could have a general rule that no non-emergency distractions should be brought up between code freeze and release?  At least for these smaller releases, where the time frame is pretty short.  Considering how thinly stretched our resources are already, I think this would be a big help in getting the things done and out the door.

I could go on at length about my opinions on the subject at hand, but I'll be the first to set a good example and keep them to myself for the moment. :)
