Forum OpenACS Q&A: /etc/init.d script for starting oacs? also, is there a systemd unit file?

Hi,

Subject says most of it...

Also interested in start, stopping and getting info as the openacs user, the one that owns the openacs files.

Thanks,
Jim

See NaviServer documentation [1]. The OpenACS install script [2] installs either a systemd service file or a upstart script depending on the system.

OK, thanks Gustaf -Jim
I ended up installing daemontools from the debian package... that way, the debian packaging takes care of starting daemontools. So far so good...
