For those who didn't know... or could not imagine as myself, after around 8 years of slumber, there it pops again!

Thanks for the news, Antonio! I was just talking about this on Friday with a colleague of mine. An update to this latest version might save us having to switch to a different editor.

FYI, the Xinha website appears to have been revamped [1] .

Code has now moved on github[2] and the maintainer appears to have switched to a more frequent release model.

All the best

Dear Xinha users on OpenACS

the richtext-xinha package has been updated to use the latest version[1]. It was also the chance to stop shipping the entire editor in the package codebase.

By default, the editor will be served via CDN. In the same way we do for CKeditor4, the sitewide admin page of the richtext-xinha package will now allow to download a local copy of the latest version, or any version, actually, by using the package parameter.

The custom OpenACS plugins for file-storage and attachments integrations seem to keep working after minimal massaging and are now maintained separately from the editor code.

In case something is not working as expected, feel free to drop your feedback!

All the best
