<h2>LEARN Systems Manager – Integration</h2>
Fulltime, 40 hours/week
Your responsibilitities:
The WU has been developing and running one of the leading e-learning platforms for teachers and students since many years. In the project „Online Learning Environment (OLE)“ this infrastructure is currently being evaluated, renewed and extended towards a broader e-learning ecosystem with the aim at opening the system for future developments and provide attractive learning offers for students also in the future. As part of our team you take an active role in the development and integration of the future e-learning architecture.
In particular, your responsibilities include:
- Conception, design and implementation of integration architectures and interfaces
- Technical integration of existing e-learning components with the new Online Learning Environment, with a focus on assessment tools
- Conception, rework and execution of integration tests
- Collaboration with the different stakeholders at the WU (IT-Services, Rectorate, LEARN-team) for the technical integration
- Collaboration with external partners in the context of the Online Learning Environment
- Support in the technical support of staff and students
Your profile:
- Academic Master’s degree or close to completion of studies in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in programming
- Proficiency in the development of REST services and API development
- Proficiency in scripting languages and databases (SQL)
- Proficiency in the operation and administration of high-availability Linux systems
- Methodological knowlegde about test-driven software development
- Team player, commitment to continuous learning, autonomous and structured approach to working
- English skills
Additional qualifications (nice to have):
- Proficiency with e-learning standards, in particular LTI (Learning Tool Interoperability)
- Proficiency with operation and technologies of e-learning platforms
- Knowledge of Tcl, Javascript, JWT, OpenAPI, JSON-RPC, HTML5 and GIT

The minimum gross monthly salary is € 2.711,90 (paid 14 times per year), subject to adjustment if candidates can document relevant prior professional experience.
