Dear all,
some of you might be interested in the following statistics that show the code age of OpenACS based on a line-by-line analysis if the source files. The statistics show, which line of code of the current oacs-5-10 was changed last in which year. The analysis is based on the acs-core and xo* packages (2.2 Mio lines of code).
It shows in essence that 44% of the source code has changed in the last three years, and that the average age of a line is about 6.34 years (we would see different numbers when all the application packages are included). Just 5.59% of the lines is 20 years old (copyright notices, comments, obsolete but still included files, ...)
