Is there any existing mailing list manager for OpenACS? I'd like to be able to handle scheduled mailings (like newsletters) based on subsite membership.

I've started looking into the bulk-mail package which handles some of the back-end bits and I could build on for the other pieces I need, but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel.

One other starting point might be notifications, supporting the subscribe/unsubscribe + delivery mechanism. If you add the newsletter as a xowiki page, you have a quick prototype.
