AFIKT, neither NaviServer nor OpenACS returns with an HTTP status code 322 by itself, but certainly, your application can return this status code, e.g. via "ns_return".
Please provide a proper report containing version numbers of the components you are using and a simple test case, where the issue can be reproduced.
