Forum .LRN Q&A: Contract available for e-learning course developer

I'm posting this on behalf of one of our clients:

Leading national nonprofit environmental organization seeks e-learning course developer to create training courses online on a contract basis. We have the graphic designer, instructional designer and all the content; we need one more team member to assemble it all into a functioning course. The Learning Center is built on .LRN/OpenACS and will serve approximately 1,000 users in the conservation community. We expect this to be a model for other environmental nonprofits.

Responsibilities:

Developing online courses according to template and guidelines provided
Ensuring that all online learning modules are SCORM compliant
Ensuring that all online learning modules are ADA compliant
Testing on modules to ensure that they function in .LRN learning management system

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with designing and developing e-learning courseware
Knowledge of HTML or DreamWeaver, and Reload (or similar packaging software); JavaScript and Flash a plus
Willing to learn, or knowledge of, .LRN (OpenACS) learning management system
2+ years of experience with developing SCORM conformant learning objects that meet Section 508 compliance
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in web-based training development
Experience with Learning Management Systems or Learning Content Management Systems, industry standards (SCORM), and accessibility compliance standards, including 508.
Must have proven track record of meeting deadlines!
