I have implemented a filter for forums that lets you sort threads (subjects) either by date of the first post or of the last post. This allows you to float all subjects that have new postings so that they are first in the listing.

I would like to move this change onto openacs.org but I'm not sure how to go about doing so.

The easiest way is to submit a patch based on a checkout of openacs.org-dev from CVS.

You can add it to the openacs.org bugtracker at https://openacs.org/bugtracker/openacs.org/
