hey,

does anybody have an idea whether the known issues within the Ecommerce package have been resolved?

Especially open points such as:
... A number of auditing inserts are not working.
... The optional Site Wide Search interface results in the following error when a trying to rebuild the index after a ...

in the bug-tracker I couldn't find any threads so far.

any updates are welcomed

I don't know specifics about ecommerce but if you're looking for open bugs you might find some in the old sdm:

http://sdm.openacs.org/sdm/open-bafs.tcl?module_id=78&package_id=9

Of course they may as well all be fixed by now and new ones should be entered in the bugtracker of course.

Gregor,

most of the open bugs in the SDM are open because the could not be reproduced and are likely problems of a different nature.

The seperate login pipeline mentioned in the SDM is scheduled to be removed in 4.7. Audits are a know sore spot and haven't received much attention. Please log all bugs in the https://openacs.org/bugtracker/openacs/.

SiteWide search has more or less be neglected in favor of the OpenFTS based search.
