I had some issues where notifications was installed but not showing up on the install list and it was not mounted. Details are here:

Since then, I uninstalled notification and got errors trying to reinstall. Now more then a few applications (blog, forum) choke on:
notification::display::request_widget
Any thoughts on how to proceed? Below is the error I get trying to reinstall notifications
