Forum OpenACS Development: Unable to install from "oacs-4-6"
While "Completing Install sequence by mounting the main site and other core packages" on the "oacs-4-6" branch, I get the following when installing on Oracle:
Completing Install sequence by mounting the main site and other core packages.

try looking further back in the error log for something like
an error loading the datamodel. I think this is just a symptom that the datamodel create failed.

Oh, there was more to it than I thought.
It seems to be ACS Mail that sets of this avalanche of errors.
Why is the installation allowed to go on if there are are errors in packages - has it always been like that?

This problem is no longer present when I install from the tip of the "oacs-4-6" branch. I must have accidentaly touched a file or two causing this failure.
Sorry about the false alarm.
