I have updated my gentoo ebuild and tested. Same name (need to follow the naming convention a little better perhaps to show the beta3 part... although it is not gentoo-standard in its default form). net-www/aolserver/aolserver-4.0.ebuild

A bug wrangler has taken responsibility for this ebuild; hopefully with gentoo's package unfreeze and a little time + emails the aolserver package will be integrated into gentoo and be carried forward from now on (as I or someone else maintains it).
