Can anybody pls respond to this? Would really appreciate it.
Should I file it as a bug?

Sorry, I meant to post a response but forgot (I'm still in Copenhagen.)  This should be fixed in the 4.6.2 final release which I put into the download repository recently.  If you grab the dotLRN 1.0 final release tarball it will have the fix, too ... (I hope! :)
