Forum .LRN Q&A: Homework Portlet problem - Submitting a new assignment (student)

Submitting a new assignment (student) through the Homework Portlet, the submitted file is displayed outside the folder, instead of within the default Homework Folder in the Homework Portlet. Only when a sub folder is created within the default Homework Folder, that the file submitted appears within the new sub folder. When a new student added the new folder created earlier appears at the same level as the default folder unlike what it supposed to appear as a child to the default folder.
