Recently I started working on a large document and began by starting an outline. During the course of this I ended up trying several outlining programs, although I ended up using OpenOffice 2.0, which by default saves in the standardized XML format .odt . I have also come across the free but not-well-engineered OPML standard for outlines.
Has anyone done any code in OpenACS that works with outlines in any fashion?
Apparently XoWiki has a "book" format that in some way can be made to behave like an outliner, but I have not evaluated it.
