I am not sure what the problem is. It is very clear that the people who have been suggested to be on a core team have, in fact, been acting as the core team. That is, these people have been contributing signifigant time and effort to improving and maintaining OpenACS.
I personally have been a member almost since OpenACS was begun. I do not feel that I should be a core member, because I do not have the time it would take. I do contribute back as much as a can to OpenACS, but I can't commit to being there when its needed.
Am I missing any other criteria that need to be considered? Technical and community leadership seem sufficient.
