Midgard CMS documentation
The Midgard CMS is very full featured, and of a very different philosophy to the standard OpenACS thinking. It took me some time to change my head, but using it made me realise that a CMS environment has pretty different needs to a Web Application one. -
Aegir CMS (uses Midgard)
Midgard itself is a bunch of APIs with no human UI. Of the various human UIs, Aegir seems the most popular. It is very full featured and very quirky (and has very inconsistant terminology with midgard and with itself!). -

Twingle
Twingle is a networked authoring tool for content management systems. The goal is to provide a common, usable front-end for open source content management systems. -
mshtml editing component for windows ie5.5+
Although this works only in win ie5.5+, it is very user friendly and allows for very powerful customisation by the developer (although somewhat unweildy). It includes table editing, context menus etc., and retains styles pasted in from word. -
