Naw, it's a new database. PG doesn't have tablespaces, nor any direct way to define a storage entity that functions as one. In other words, in Oracle I can define different tablespaces on different disk spindles and scatter my tables and index files and databases among them as I please. Can't do that in PG directly but you will be perhaps by 7.5??? There's been talk about it off and on for about three years and I think it's finally rising to the "will get done" level.
