Forum OpenACS Q&A: Spring 2008 OCT Election procedure and Call for Nominations

<h4>Voters and Nominations</h4>

Current OCT members, CVS committers and anyone who has posted at least twice to the forums in 90 days to 26 February 2008 may vote. The same persons are eligible to be candidates for OCT, and may nominate others for this election.

There are 5 seats available. The elected persons will have 1 year terms ending on 1 May 2009. Current OCT members (Dave Bauer, Don Baccus, Victor Guerra, Malte Sussdorff, Tracy Adams) are automatically nominated. (Please post here if you refuse the nomination.) For others, two nominations are required to be on the ballot. Nomination takes place by posting on this thread.

Now Nominations open.
Friday 7 March 2008 Nominations close. Preliminary ballot is published.
Saturday 8 March 2008 Ballot is frozen at 23:00 UTC (those who have refused nomination are deleted). Voting begins at Midnight UTC.
Thursday 20 March 2008: Voting ends.

Voting will take place on the openacs.org site, at a URL to be announced in this thread and in its own thread on the OpenACS Q&A forum.

As mentioned before I am taking some time off from OCT work, therefore don't put me on the ballot anymore. Thanks a lot for the good work so far and let's see where the toolkit will evolve into. I look forward to collaborate with the new OCT!
