sorry for the beginner question:
Can dotLRN automatically handle this module? Where do I do the configuration giving dotLRN the name of the LDAP server?

BTW, one link in the documentation results in a security violation. Do I miss some relevant information there? It is "here/Installing LDAP support/install"

.LRN can handle the module; several people are running it in production or testing.  You configure it within the Admin page after you have installed it.

That's a side effect:)  It's a link directly to the administrator page for the local machine, so that you can install the package.  If you are reading the documentation on your own machine, it should work.
