We are going to get started with formation of the .LRN Consortium. As a first step we will form an
informal organization modeled along the lines of the
DSpace Federation.
For now, any institution or organization that has implemented or is about to implement .LRN can become a member of the consortium. In the coming year, we will work together to develop a more formal structure.
Some of the aims of the consortium:
- strengthen the platform;
- set roadmap for new releases;
- coordinate new releases;
- support and strengthen user community;
- support and strengthen developer community;
- facilitate joint funding projects;
