It is an Oracle only test package that allows you to create tests. Each test have sections, and the sections have questions. Questions can have one or multiple answers. For each question, you can have a wrong or correct message to display to the user. Also you can set up a passing score for each test (a percentaje of questions).

A cool feature that has is that it allows you to set the order you want the question rendered within a section. So you can choose to have an X number of question randomly picked from a larger pool of questions.

In addition it has the killer-question concept. Although you might be getting all answers right, if you answered wrong a question that was a killer-question, you automatically fail (regardless of your previous answers).

I can't really recall all the details, but it has a good bunch of features you might find interesting.

Malte is working on the assessment tool and that the specs sound very very cool. Maybe it would be worth it to work with him and others on this.
