Now that .LRN v2.x has been released, we are following three parallel paths.
  • .LRN Web Site.We want to launch the new site this week, but have enlisted marketing professions to help us develop the content and presentation. We see support and resources for technical developers to continue to be at the OpenACS web site. The .LRN web site will be targeted at press, decision makers, and users (potential and actual).

  • .LRN Marketing. We have begun to define a marketing campaign and you should begin to see a series of press releases, for example, starting with Heidelberg conference.

  • .LRN Consortium. This will be announced at the Heidelberg conference but you will hear more about it in the coming weeks. One of the major activities of the consortium will be fund-raising.

If you are interested in participating in any of these activities, please let me know. Thank you for creating such a vibrant and successful community! We have an exciting road ahead.
