Wouldn't it be nice to have a cvs browser that could present a user with the most recent uses of a particular proc, sorted by developer-pool, file-add date, and latest change date?
..where developer-pool is user changeable, but defaults to a set of acs-core developers (who most likely are using best practices).
Other developers could then search for working examples of a proc which most likely represent latest practices, with ad_form being an example of a popularly searched for procedure.
Granted, this feature will not work for all cases, but would require little developer intervention for maintaining fresh and accurate tutorials.
