Forum OpenACS Q&A: Accessibility Tutorial in Valencia

Hi all,

Héctor and I are preparing a tutorial on Accessibility in OpenACS/.LRN to be held in Valencia on the 20th (Conference Agenda).

In this tutorial, we'll explain how to interpret and apply the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and their checkpoints, providing examples in OpenACS/.LRN for each of them, and provide a list of tools that can be used to help in the process of making a page WCAG compliant.

If you have items, questions or doubts regarding accessibility in OpenACS/.LRN, please let us know and we'll include them in the tutorial.

And important: bring your laptop! there won't be any desktop computer there.

I wish I was going to Valencia!
Is there a way to virtually participate on this tutorial?
Anyway, I will be aware about any documentation you guys release about it.

I'm afraid there's no way to participate virtually. But we'll release all the documentation used during the tutorial, for sure.
