About three years ago I was working with Rocael to setup an OpenACS installation. I had two clients in mind, one was on spec and when the other lost interest I let the thing slide. In fact, I turned the whole machine off.
I just fired it up again, and it looks like I'm running RedHat 7.1, PostgreSQL 7.2, TCL 8.3.3, and AD33.13. I can't even now remember how to start the server process to see what I still have there.
My first question is, what are the names of the config files to search for that would tell me what ports we used, and how do I kick this off?
Second, other than the database and the actual pages that were developed, should I worry about preserving any of this or just install a later RedHat, PG 7.4, and ACS 5.1.4?
And has anyone done a howto that will let me run multiple independent named hosts on port 80? That may not be as important as it once was, as the services that will be running on this machine will be displayed as part of sites that are happily runing on Apache and will not need to be available directly, but I know all my earlier attempts at this came to naught.
