Is there any way to make ACS 3 respond to various hostnames without
changing the url to be only the default hostname?

Here's the specific issue:
www4.merp.com is the default. works fine.
store.colorificsigns.com points to the same url. If I point my browser
there, it works, but instantly changes the url back to www4.merp.com.

How can I make it stay store.colorificsigns.com?

change the value of ForceHostP in your parameters/$server.tcl file
