I tend to agree with Jade that an easier installer should be the highest priority. Firt impressions are so very important. An elegant installation would create a positive impression of OpenACS/.LRN. Unfortunately the current installation process is obscure and difficult (this has been related to me by multiple sources). This only re-inforces the impression and creatss the symbolism that OpenACS/.LRN is unorthodox and "way out there".
