I was looking through some of the open 4.x probelems in the SDM last night, and it occurred to me that there is no category there for the SDM itself.

Has the SDM been ported to OpenACS 4.x?

No, it hasn't.  Ben Adida (the original author) intends to spend time rewriting for OpenACS 4 in the next 2-3 months.

Well, if Ben is looking for a hand, I'd be happy to give one
(assuming my own schedule allows for it. It has a habit of getting
in the way of productive coding)

What will happen to the existing SDM when you cut over to a 4.x codebase on this site?

We'll probably keep the SDM as a 3.x instance at first, now that it appears that the major performance problems with OpenACS 4/PG have been solved (which means we can start thinking seriously again about the move).

This will be ugly but I don't see the SDM for 4.x getting done in time.
