I hope we'll get as many of you as possible to Madrid on May 9-10th for the annual OpenACS/ .LRN Global User Group Meetings. This year they are being held in coordination with the first annual Spanish forum on .LRN and free software for E-Learning, which runs May 10th and 11th. See

-0930: opening remarks -- OpenACS Board/ OCT (same)
-1030: presentation/ Q&A about Consortium activities and significant progress to date
-1130: user presentations -- what they're doing with the software
-1230: lunch -- speaker TBD
-1400: more user presentations; siesta for those who wish to observe local customs
-1700: tapas/ drinks
-2100: dinner (details to follow)
Tuesday
-0900: contributor presentations -- what they're doing
-1000: discussion panels -- what could be/ should be in future releases? when? how will we make sure they get in?
-1230: synthesis presentation for comment by .LRN board)
-1400: breakouts...
