Well it wasn't.
I have a 3.4.2 tarball that I just downloaded from aol's site and using -g mygroup doesn't work.
All files/directories are owned by nsadmin.mygroup. If you do a chmod -R o-rxw, You will get no pages and a nice permission denied in your logs.
I took a running earlier ad-12 (I believe) that had ALL world permissions stripped and when the aolserver was upgraded it stopped.
