I covered the first bullet point. Some german university made an evaluation of .LRN and they came up with the following points where OpenACS & .LRN is lacking:

- The installation instructions are too complex, as you have to install several components seperately. It should be better to have only one installation without getting the seperate components from seperate websites. I already started with the automated installer scripts which I hopefully can test a little bit more.

- We should have a PDF manual for offline reading.

- Our sourcecode is lacking internal documentation

- .LRN is missing developer documentation.

My guess is that we'd have to promote our documentation for OpenACS on dotlrn.org as well, as we do have most of the documents available.
