And I like the global/instance nomenclature. Very appropriate. The globals should probably appear as inform values within an instance in a separate "global" section. I don't feel very strongly about this but it seems like it could be confusing to allow even SWAs to edit global params from an instance. A link to acs-admin for SWAs would make sense, though.
