hello guys..i need help from u all..
i got a problem to view *.swf files directly.
following are part of the config in my *.ini file :

[ns/MimeTypes]
Default=text/plain
NoExtension=text/plain
.pcd=image/x-photo-cd
.prc=application/x-pilot
.css=text/css
.doc=application/msword
.swf=application/x-shockwave-flash

but when i restart the aolserver, netscape couldn't recognise it as
Flash files,
while displaying "@#$$%^*().. bla.. bla.. something i dont understand"

did i miss something in the config file??
i'm using aolserver33 and ACS (siemens+sharenet)

thank you.

You have the correct section of the config file. The following worked for me on AOLServer 3.3+ad13
[ns/mimetypes]
.swf=application/x-shockwave-flash
Were you trying to access the .swf file directly (i.e. putting the file name in the URL). That might not work but putting the correct reference to the Flash file in an html file should work.

yupp.. i try to put the file name directly at the url.
it works with IE but not with netscape.

However, i found out that, Apache allow this thing to happen
(although using netscape).

Thank you for your assistance.
