The ]po[ team has just completed a new package "Idea Management" that allows users to vote for ideas and to submit new ideas.
We are going to use this internally to priorize our work.
A live demo/system is available on http://www.project-open.org/intranet-idea-management (main page) and integrated into XoWiki at: http://www.project-open.org/documentation/project_open_roadmap.
The idea generation part is connected to the ]po[ helpdesk, so that the internal organization can easily assign, escalate and otherwise bulk-process the idea "tickets".
The package is covered by GPL V2 or higher. It required ]po[ V4.0. Please let us know if you would like to test this on your own server, as the upgrade from V3.5 to V4.0 has still some issues.
