Forum OpenACS Q&A: PostgreSQL Vulnerability Affecting OpenACS?

There seems to be a serious vulnerability in PostgreSQL with multiby encoding (such as the UTF-8 used in standard OpenACS):

Any idea if this affects OpenACS with these ":" SQL-variables due to our special database driver architecture?
