Forum OpenACS Q&A: OT: non-nsd specific proxies?

It looks like I won't be able to get DSL in my new house (even though I'm only 3 miles from the CO... grr) so my server's going to have to stay at my friend's if I want to avoid $$$ in colo fees. But, my friend wants to run his own site on IIS. What's the best way to set up some kind of virtual domain proxy between the IIS on NT and nsd on linux?

Skimming through the FAQ it looks like I could do this with Squid redirectors. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a simpler way?

I have some experience doing it with Apache and ProxyPass.  I
couldn't tell you which is simpler.  Doing it with AOLServer and
using the virtual hosting instructions could be another way.
