Aldert: You raise an interesting question about the status of the dotLRN kernel. OpenACS core is integral to dotLRN and we have no intention of forking. TAB will consist primarily of OpenACS developers and one of their tasks will to ensure that the two projects remain strongly coupled. As dotWRK and dotNGO emerge, perhaps we will all share a common kernel. At that point, it might make sense to revise our nomenclature. These types of questions will be delegated to TAB.
