Hear, hear! I'd like to add that
all should use templates. In my opinion packages that don't use templates yet should be reworked so that they do in 4.6.
Time permitting I will remove the ecommerce specific master template or make it work with the template.
On a similar mode I'd like to see better documentation of the templating system. There are a number of poorly documented features such as the -return_errors flag of ad_page_contract. The templating system is such a powerfull component of OpenACS but many packages use only a fraction of the available features. Better documentation of the templating system would promote use of the templating system and prevent duplicate code as well as time wasted digging through the code to unearth undocumented capabilities.
