I can't find an URL to access the OpenACS CVS from my navigator.

There exists? or maybe it's only accesible from the commandline.

There is a cvsweb browsable version at http://dev.openacs.org:8000/cvs/openacs-4/
(although hopefully that is not the long term URL...)

checkouts should be done via the command line (or by downloading a
tarball).

Jeff,

Perhaps you could fix the "Browse CVS" link on https://openacs.org/4/, and add a link to https://openacs.org/software.adp. While we're waiting for the new web site :)
